The first weekend of September will mark 4 years of service to the traffic exchange industry for Nexus Exchange. And we are going to celebrate the whole weekend long.

Starting Friday, September 4, 2009 and running through Monday, September 7, 2009,  some very lucky surfing members will win some fantastic prizes.

Surf 100 sites at Nexus Exchange on any one of the four days and be added to the hat for a random drawing to win 400 credits, 4000 banner impressions, AND 4000 text link impressions. Two winners will be chosen each day.

Surf 100 sites on all four days and be entered in a random drawing for the grand prize of a free four-month upgrade to our top-level Expressway membership. If the winner is already an upgraded member, then the prize will be 4000 credits.

Hope to see you in the winners circle!

Wanna know how to build a list? Well, here’s how NOT to do it.

We are supposed to learn from our mistakes. William Brant, creator of Max Traffic Pro and 13 Deadly Traffic Exchange Tragedies, wants everyone to learn from his mistakes. And he’s made plenty of them. Thirteen of them to be exact. And he listed all of them for you in his new ebook 13 Deadly List Building Tragedies.

The book is not merely a list of don’ts, though. Each “tragedy” is explained in detail with suggested list building resources to help you avoid them.

There is no hype here. William doesn’t hide the fact that list building is a process that won’t be done overnight. But he does provide tips that will save you time and money along the way.

The information in 13 Deadly List Building Tragedies is free. You will need to register with the site unless you can find someone willing to give you a copy. Chances are, though, if you do find that someone, you are on her list and she already has your email address. AND, she is probably an upgraded member of the 13 Deadly List Building Tragedies membership site.

Upgraded members of 13 Deadly List Building Tragedies get to rebrand their own copy of the ebook. Rebranding means that all the links in the ebook have been coded to YOU so all those tools and sites suggested in the book — people click the links and join under YOU.

So this is how it works. You join 13 Deadly List Building Tragedies and get a free ebook chock-full of tips and info that you desperately need to build a list the right way from the start. You can give away the book to people as an incentive to join your list. If you upgrade your 13 Deadly List Building Tragedies membership and rebrand your copy of the book, then people who join 13 Deadly List Building Tragedies under you will download a copy of YOUR rebranded book with YOUR links in it. You can build your list and your income at the same time. Did I mention you earn commissions on your referrals who upgrade? More money in your pocket just from giving away an  ebook that has information that people want and need . What could be easier? Well, falling off of a log I suppose is easier, but I don’t recommend doing that.

I do recommend, however, reading 13 Deadly List Building Tragedies. The book is free, but the list building information is priceless.

Big surprise, huh?

Last post stated that 4 members would win 150 credits for surfing today. Well, with all the enticing offers out there to surf at other exchanges, plus it being Sunday, I felt the need to up the ante, so …

Today, if you surf at least 50 sites at Nexus Exchange, you will be eligible to win 400 credits. Four lucky winners will be chosen at random.

What’s up with the number four? Nexus Exchange moved up 4 ranks on the Affiliate Funnel Traffic Exchange ranking system this week.

Friday’s winners each had 150 credits added to their accounts. The winners were:

  • Marjory Albury
  • Rainer Weurlander
  • Elli Kishor
  • Laurie Jackson

Hope I get to announce YOU as a winner next.

Affiliate Funnel Trafffic Exchange Rankings for the week came out today and Nexus Exchange jumped four notches to capture #68. Woot! Thank you to everyone that voted for us. We know that we would be nowhere without you.

To celebrate, everyone who surfs at least 50 sites today or Sunday will be entered in a random drawing to have 150 credits added to their account. Four lucky winners will be chosen each day. Good luck!
